Hi good friends! If youre looking to get a lil festive tonight, happy humpday and Cinco de Mayo & #x 1f642; Here are some recipes. Try these sour cream enchiladas, the very best rice, this prickly pear margarita or this sangria, and some beans (I still need to do a post with my familys bean recipe. Good). We have Taco Tuesday with my fam every week, but we chose to have it tonight rather. Im eagerly anticipating guac and a rita later!
For todays post, I desired to share a day of consumes and a full day from start to complete. Its fun to return and see just how much these modification as time goes on, and how many things stay the exact same (like the nighttime laundry folding party. it will never ever end.) This day was a pretty * normal * day of workouts and consumes. as typical as things get around here right now. So here we go!
2am– 4:30 am: Were awake to the loud beeping of the emergency alarm. Its been beeping for the previous 3 nights at random periods. We vacuum and clean them, change the batteries, and the Pilot ends up removing them from the walls so we can sleep.
6:40 am: Up to get the crew all set for school! I make them waffles and rushed eggs, evacuate their lunches and water bottles, grab their masks, and do their hair prior to the Pilot provides them a ride. I make the beds, feed the animals, put the dishes away, and run a loud of laundry.
7:30 am: Licorice tea, a couple of pieces of a Hu chocolate bar, and e-mails prior to my exercise. I have a protein or some chocolate ball almost every day as a little sweet bite to get the day going & #x 1f642;
9:00 -10:00 am: Barre Bootcamp 2.0 workout (I did the Barre Booty one as part of our challenge) and get dressed. I have a Daily Harvest healthy smoothie with my supplements and Truvani protein powder before going out the door
10:30 -11:15 am Meeting at Livs school to inspect out the kindergarten program for P. Ive been feeling uncertain and nervous about sending her to school in the fall with the current constraints, but seeing whatever face to face certainly put my mind at ease.
11:30 -12:30 pm I come back house and roast a giant pan of veggies to have for salads and scrambles during the week. I also use this massive cauliflower that we collected from our garden!
I take my first half of lunch with me: a salad with greens and a few of the roasted veggies, plus Primal Kitchen dressing and dietary yeast
Everything has been growing so well and we have Swiss chard, romaine, kale, tomatoes, eggplant, cauliflower, beets, carrots, and green onions. While the veggies are roasting, I make a blog graphic, put the finishing touches on the next days post, and get on a Beautycounter call with a new expert
12:30 -1:30 pm A huge reward: massage! The past year has actually made me recognize how much we depend on human touch, and my legs, back, and calves are so remarkably tight.
2pm: I have the second half of my lunch: gluten free toast with Kite Hill cream cheese, capers, Everything but the Bagel spices, and red onion, with a giant apple.
+ A red Organifi juice to take with me.
2:10 -3:30 pm: The school pick-up rotation! I get both of the girls, we swing into Petco for hay for the guinea pigs, and were back in the house! They grab a snack and see a program to chill for a little bit, while I run upstairs to send out a number of billings and deal with a post draft for WebMD.
Green tea and a Sakara beauty chocolate.
4:00 pm: The Pilot is home from work early, so he drops Liv at dance, and then P trips her bike while we stroll about the neighborhood. The Pilot heads outside to do some lawn work, so P and I play 3 rounds of Candyland and begin dinner.
We make Greek plates with falafel (frozen from Whole Foods! You simply need to fry it), grape leaves, baked chicken, hummus, olives, salad (greens, cucumber, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil) and pita on the side.
6pm: The Pilot chooses Liv up from dance and all have supper together. <
